Originally from Baltimore, MD. I recieved my BFA from St. John's University in 2008. I started practicing yoga that same year, to help my chronic lower back pain. After finding Unnata® Aerial Yoga, I was not only able to use the silk to heal my physical pain, but to heal the mental, emotional and spiritual suffering that had played in the background of my life. I completed my 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Certification through Sacred Sounds Yoga In June 2014. After years of practicing and studying with Michelle Dortignac, founder of Unnata® Aerial Yoga, I became a certified Unnata® Aerial Yoga teacher in 2015 and completed my Advanced Unnata® Aerial Yoga training in 2017.
I use my experiences of healing, chanting, meditation and physical movement to spread yoga and light to places and people that may not have otherwise found it. I am a practicing visual artist based in Brooklyn, NY, interested in: permaculture, social justice and the liberation of the soul to create a higher consciousness across communities.
I am available for private floor and aerial yoga instruction.
