Stephanie started practicing yoga in 2008 when her chronic back pain became unbearable. After finding Unnata® Aerial Yoga, she was not only able to use the silk to heal her physical pain, but to heal the mental, emotional and spiritual suffering that had played in the background of her life. Stephanie completed her 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Certification through Sacred Sounds Yoga in 2014. In February 2015, after years of practicing and studying with Michelle Dortignac, founder of Unnata® Aerial Yoga, she became a certified Unnata® Aerial Yoga teacher. In 2017, she completed the Advanced Unnata® Aerial Yoga training.
Using her experiences of healing, chanting, meditation and physical movement, Stephanie tries to spread yoga and light to places and people that may not have otherwise found it. She is a practicing visual artist based in Brooklyn, NY, interested in: permaculture, social justice and the liberation of the soul to create a higher consciousness across communities.
