I started practicing yoga in 2008 when my chronic back pain became unbearable. After finding Unnata® Aerial Yoga, I was not only able to use the silk to heal my physical pain, but to heal the mental, emotional and spiritual suffering that had played in the background of my life. I completed my 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Certification through Sacred Sounds Yoga in 2014. In February 2015, after years of practicing and studying with Michelle Dortignac, founder of Unnata® Aerial Yoga, I became a certified Unnata® Aerial Yoga teacher. In 2017 I completed the Advanced Unnata® Aerial Yoga training.
Using my experiences of healing, chanting, meditation and physical movement I try and spread yoga and light to places and people that may not have otherwise found it. I am a practicing visual artist based in Brooklyn, NY, interested in: permaculture, social justice and the liberation of the soul to create a higher consciousness across communities.
